Mr. Ullman grew up in the Raleigh area. He met his wife while at Campbell University. After he graduated from law school at UNC-CH, they married. They live in the Raleigh area and have two children.

They are actively involved with their church. Mrs. Ullman works as a volunteer in the community for the elderly. When he is not at work, Mr. Ullman likes to spend time with his family and occasionally golf.

Mr. Ullman started his own practice in 2000. In addition to trying cases, he works both as a trained mediator and collaborative law attorney.
